With only 2 months to prepare, more than half of the group had no mambo or cha-cha training, and no performance experience AT ALL! This was their first time performing. GREAT JOB!

Please show your interest by joining this event.....Never been tried before in Edmonton...There are lots of well known and excellent Latin Rock bands and surely many of us listen to other varieties of music....Come and check it out folks, you'll be able to hear bands such as; Mana, Los Tres, Bloque etc. Many bands from all over Latin America have been playing rock for decades...now for the first time in Edmonton you'll be able to hear local DJ's playing that music...We are planning this event for the near future but since it has never been done in Edmonton we, (La Kantina owners and I) would like to see what kind of interest there is and if people would come out and support an event like that...I am considering having my band play there since we are one of the bands in Edmonton that plays music with a Latin feel but is not a Merengue, cumbia or Salsa band.
